Davis and Haworth

Andrea Mae Davis of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Christopher Lee Haworth of Kingsport plan to be married in an open-church ceremony at 12:30 p.m., July 20, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church, Kingsport.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Joyce and Greg Davis of Oak Ridge, and the granddaughter of the late Darlene and Clarris Richendollar, formerly of Chillicothe, Ohio, and the late Vinnie and Herman Davis, formerly of Lake Wales, Fla. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She received a bachelor’s degree in religion and a master’s degree in religion with an emphasis in theology from Trevecca Nazarene University, Nashville, and a master’s of divinity degree from Duke University, Durham, N.C. In June, she completed a one-year appointment as Pastor of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Freda and David Haworth of Kingsport, and the grandson of Myrtle Wallen and the late Radford Wallen, and Marjorie Haworth and the late Carl Haworth. He graduated from Volunteer High School, where he was a member of the marching and jazz bands, and received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from East Tennessee State University. He is employed at the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.
