Kiser and Morgan

Carrie Kathleen Morgan of Birchwood, Tenn., and Tyler Allen Kiser of Jonesville, Va., were married April 27, 2013, at the Karlan Mansion, Wilderness Road State Park, Ewing, Va.

The Rev. Bob Richards officiated at the 3 p.m., ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Kathleen Morgan of Birchwood, and the granddaughter of Katherine Selvidge of Birchwood, the late Blucher Selvidge, and the late Rose and Lake Morgan, formerly of Athens, Tenn. The bridegroom is the son of Gary and Dianne Kiser of Jonesville, and the grandson of Bradley Bledsoe of Kingsport; the late Lucille Bledsoe, formerly of Jonesville; and the late Jack Kiser, formerly of Willoughby, Ohio. He is the great-grandson of Oma Dishner of Kingsport.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father.

Sammantha Ivey, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Tiegs and Sheryl Morgan, cousins of the bride. Taylor Queen, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Gary Kiser served his son as best man. Groomsmen were James Roseman and Andy Harless, friends of the bridegroom. Ushers were Zackery Grabeel, friend of the bridegroom, and Samuel Morgan, brother of the bride. Tyler Lee, friend of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

The bride attended the University of Tennessee and is currently attending Mountain Empire Community College. She is employed as a nurse at Lee Health and Rehabilitation.

The bridegroom attended Concord University and received an associate’s degree in emergency medical services from Mountain Empire Community College. He is employed as a paramedic for Church Hill Emergency Medical Services.

Following their honeymoon, the couple resides in Jonesville.
