Wednesday night’s opening round game was a first for veteran Wise Central coach T. J. McAmis. For the first time in his memory, McAmis’ team scored four points in two quarters and did not shoot a single free throw and still won the game.
Several teams participated in tournaments last week, but many more are in action this week, including the largest tournament in Southwest Virginia.
