Kingsport police are seeking information on a suspect in a recent auto burglary and credit card fraud case.

According to a KPD press release, on July 10 between 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. a vehicle was burglarized outside the Downtown Academic Village, 300 West Market Street. Stolen in the incident was a wallet containing three credit cards.

At approximately 6 a.m. the next day, according to police, a man used the credit cards to make four purchases at the Walmart on Fort Henry Drive. Items bought included an Xbox video game system.

The suspect was reportedly turned away from making two additional purchases with the stolen cards at Walmart, then attempted 15 unsuccessful withdraws from an ATM at a Fort Henry Drive bank.

Anyone with information on the man pictured is asked to contact the KPD detectives at (423) 229-9429 , or Kingsport central dispatch at (423) 246-9111.
