Morgan Nicole Hutson and Rickie Allen Campbell
ROGERSVILLE — A Rogersville man was arrested Friday following a Hawkins County Sheriff's Office investigation into two meth labs, but police are still looking for a female accomplice.
Rickie Allen Campbell, Jr., 27, 466 Richards Road is charged with promotion of manufacturing meth and initiating the process to manufacture meth.
On June 5, the HCSO Narcotics Unit responded to 227 Payne Ridge Road, Lot 16, in reference to a report of a meth lab being located at the residence by the homeowner.
The homeowner told deputies that she had been allowing her daughter, Morgan Nicole Hutson, and son-in-law, Rickie Allen Campbell Jr., to stay at the residence while she was staying with another family member.
Upon their arrival, officers observed numerous signs that meth manufacturing had occurred at the residence and seized numerous chemicals used in the manufacturing process including sodium chloride, methanol, ammonia nitrate, sodium hydroxide, and muriatic acid.
Deputies also allegedly recovered a checking account ATM card belonging to Campbell with the chemicals.
In a separate incident this past Thursday, deputies responded to the Richards Road area of Hawkins County on a meth lab complaint.
During this incident, officers recovered and seized two one-pot meth labs and a hydrachloric acid gas generator.
Officers also recovered a store receipt within the meth trash containing an EBT food card number. During a subsequent Investigation, it was determined the food card number belongs to Campbell.
At the time of his arrest, Campbell was on parole from a four year sentence imposed in 2012 for multiple burglaries.
Campbell is currently being held in the Hawkins County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
Hutson is wanted on a felony warrant for promotion of manufacturing meth.
