Man arrested with 333 rounds of ammunition two weeks after warning of the apocalypse 

A Jonesborough man, arrested two weeks ago on illegal weapons charges after warning of the apocalypse, was found June 22 with 333 rounds of ammunition along with three loaded magazines and a handgun, according to a police report.

Man breaks into pickup to free puppy, gets punched by 72-year-old owner

At 12:32 p.m. police were called to a fight in progress at Lowe's on East Stone Drive. One participant, 60, stated he had spotted a dog locked inside a vehicle and whining.
