Nerves drove Jarnell Stokes to the gym.
The NBA draft was underway and the picks — Andrew Wiggins to Cleveland at No. 1, Jabari Parker to Milwaukee at No. 2, Joel Embiid to Philadelphia at No. 3 — rolled in.
Stokes, who expected to go anywhere between picks 20 and 35, couldn't sit and watch.
"I was too stressed out," he said in a phone interview late Thursday night. "I was hearing this team liked me. I was hearing that team liked me."
