Variety of services, revival and homecomings on tap

Services

Salem United Methodist Church, at the intersection of Bloomingdale and Boozy Creek roads, will hold services Sunday with Pastor Will Shewey preach at the 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m services, and Dayspring Band leading the 1:30 p.m. JOY service. Sunday also is Little Debbie Sunday. Please donate snacks, including diabetic treats, to be delivered to the Indian Path Medical Center emergency room and waiting rooms.

Oak Glen Baptist Church, 2836 Yuma Road, Gate City, Va., will hold services at 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Sunday with evangelist Greg Lentz.

Norton United Methodist Church, 8th Street at Virginia Avenue, will observe Pentecost Sunday at 11 a.m., Sunday.

Gate City United Pentecostal Church, 477 Old Nickelsville Road, will have a community service at 11 a.m., Sunday with free barbecue dinner following.

Speers Ferry Church will hold baptizing at 6 p.m., at the boat dock in Clinchport, Va.

Durham's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church will hold a service at 6:30 p.m., Sunday with Jacob Horton preaching.
Hales Chapel United Methodist Church, Gate City, Va., will hold a service at 11 a.m., Sunday with SO REAL Ministries with Lori Templeton.

Lynn Garden Evangelical Methodist Church will hold services Sunday with the Rev. Earl Miller preaching at both.

Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church, 21503 Benhams Road, Bristol, Va., will hold a service at 7 p.m., Wednesday with The Men's Quartet from Welch College singing and the Rev. Glen Johnson, pastor of Good News Free Will Baptist Church, Chesterville, Va., preaching.

Revival

Full Gospel Mission Church, 740 E. Sevier Ave., Kingsport, will hold its spring revival at 7 p.m., Sunday through Tuesday with Pastor Ricardo Dorcean speaking Sunday, Pastor Charles Hawkins on Monday and Pastor Billy Pearson on Tuesday.

Homecomings

Riner's Tabernacle Independent Baptist Church, 213 Pond Springs Road, Kingsport, will celebrate its 50-year homecoming at 11 a.m., Sunday with evangelist Roger Henson preaching and the Henson Family singing.

Gravley Hill Central Baptist Church, Clinchport, Va., will celebrate homecoming Sunday with special singing and Pastor J.E. Mauk preaching.
