Kingsport City Schools Board of Education to Hold Special Called Work Session/Futures Conference

KINGSPORT - The Kingsport City Schools Board of Education will hold a special called work session and Futures Conference on Friday, May 16 at 8:30 a.m. located at MeadowView Marriott Conference Resort & Convention Center, 1901 Meadowview Parkway, Kingsport

The Futures Conference and all Board work sessions are open to the public.

The purpose of the called work session is to hold a "Futures Conference," sponsored by Eastman Chemical Company and facilitated by DeJong-Richter (Dublin, OH). The conference will review long-range facility planning and community educational visioning.

Kingsport City Schools is a public school system located in Kingsport, Tenn., serving students in Sullivan and Hawkins county. The district is comprised of 13 schools, including a Pre-K, eight elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school and an alternative school; with total enrollment reaching 7,000 students.
