COEBURN — It was an action-packed night of racing Saturday at Lonesome Pine Raceway when the Southeast Super Trucks made their first stop at The Pine.

ARCA Racing Series regular Kyle Benjamin used a late-race caution to his advantage to claim the series victory in a 75-lap race that saw multiple caution periods and one red flag.

A yellow flag for debris on the back straightaway with four laps remaining set up a battle to the finish line between Benjamin and Lee Tissot. Tissot attempted to ride the top line to Victory Lane, but Benjamin used the inside lane to his advantage and took the checkered flag.

Tissot was the runner-up, followed by Dakota Slagle, Ed Surrett and Austin Akers.

A familiar name came out on top again in the night's Late Model Stock Car feature. Chad Finchum won for the third time in four Late Model events this season at LPR.

Finchum was trailed across the finish line by Kres Vandyke, Michael Kidd, Ryan Stiltner and Brian Blevins.

Other winners on the night were Kirby Gobble (Street Stock) and John Ketron (Pure 4).

The next race at Lonesome Pine Raceway is Saturday, May 17.
