Bible studies

A study of Hebrews, led by Larry Stamm of Larry Stamm Ministries, will continue at 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 25 during the Third Friday Fellowship in Johnson City. Written to messianic Jews in the first century, the book of Hebrews has important applications for modern-day followers of Jesus who want to live in the light of the gospel. During the yearlong series, Stamm, a modern messianic Jew, will teach a new chapter in Hebrews each month. This month the group will study Hebrews 3. The Third Friday Fellowship meets at Grace Fellowship Church, 2314 S. Greenwood Drive, Johnson City. Call (423) 426-5055 or email lsm@larrystamm.org to register and receive a study guide. There is no charge to attend.

BibleStudyTwo, now in its eighth year of engaging teenage boys in studying, examining and experiencing the Bible and Christianity, will hold a kick-off dinner and presentation on the program at 6:30 p.m., Friday, May 2 at Mountain View United Methodist Church, 4405 Orebank Road, Kingsport. Dress is business casual. The program will include a history of the program and a look at its future, including plans for obtaining a permanent location and fund-raising to achieve that goal. The dinner is free, but reservations are requested by emailing alliefantin@gmail.com
