BRASELTON, Ga. — The East Tennessee State men's golf team shot a final round 4-over 297 Tuesday and finished third in the Atlantic Sun Conference championship at The Legends Golf Club.
Mercer won the team title with a three-round total of 874. Kennesaw State was second (880) and the Bucs third (884).
It was the Bears first-ever A-Sun title and they earned the A-Sun's automatic bid to the NCAA regional.
ETSU was led by Adrian Meronk and Rhys Pugh, who tied for fifth at 219. Chris Hickman finished tied for seventh at 220.
Mercer's Trey Rule (71-73-71) took the individual crown with a 1-under 215.
The Bucs' Mateusz Gradecki shot 229 and Gudmundur Kristjansson finished at 233.comments powered by Disqus
