Alcohol may have been a factor in a single-vehicle car crash that seriously injured two off-duty Washington County sheriff's deputies, a Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesperson said Monday.

According to preliminary information from THP Public Information Officer Dalya Qualls, Cunningham was attempting to negotiate a curve and lost control of the car.
