A staff member at the Jonesborough Animal Hospital has reported that public donations of more than $1,000 have completely covered the bill for rescued pup Radar's surgery earlier this week.
Donations were pouring in at the Jonesborough Animal Hospital after a front-page story in the Johnson City Press on Friday told the tale of a good Samaritan who rescued an injured pup in Bluff City.
After being found with a broken leg in Mike and Wanda Phillips' front yard on April 11, Radar has had a whirlwind week that includes visits to two area veterinarians and surgery on a bad break in the terrier's right front leg.
