Church Hill Free Medical Clinic holds fund-raiser at Leaping Lizards

The Church Hill Free Medical Clinic will hold a fund-raiser at Leaping Lizards Family Entertainment Center Thursday, April 3.

The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., at the center, which is located at 1065 Wilcox Court, Kingsport, behind East Tennessee Cheer & Gymnastics on Highway 93. Leaping Lizards offers a wide variety of inflatable play areas all indoors.

The cost is $10 per child plus tax at the door. Concessions will be available, and one-topping pizzas from Chef's Pizzeria may be delivered for $10.95.

Half of all entry fees will be donated to the Church Hill Free Medical Clinic, which provides free general medical care and Christian support to uninsured residents of Hawkins and Hancock counties and the Tri-cities community in Northeast Tennessee.

The clinic provides general medical care, prescription medications, lab testing, limited referrals to area specialists, respiratory clinic, dermatology consultations, diabetes clinics and patient education by referral, patient pharmacy assistance program, and individualized Christian counseling by trained lay or ordained ministers.

The clinic is open on the second, third and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Doctors start seeing patients at 6 p.m. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis, limited to the first 25 patients.
