BIG STONE GAP — The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park is offering an opportunity to dine with New York Times bestselling authors Adriana Trigiani and David Baldacci in a special fund-raising event for the Friends of the Southwest Virginia Museum.
Tickets are now available for 'Storytellers of the Silver Screen,' a one-of-a-kind luncheon experience where the authors will highlight recent projects to turn their novels, set in Virginia, into full length feature films.
The authors will discuss the film adaptation of Trigiani's novel, 'Big Stone Gap,' currently in production of much of it filmed last summer in Trigiani's hometown of Big Stone Gap, and Baldacci's 'Wish You Well,' released last October.
The speaking event will not include a book signing. Participants will be treated to a prepared lunch with the authors on the grounds of the museum.
'Storytellers of the Silver Screen' will begin at 1:30 p.m. on April 8. Tickets are $50 each and limited to a total of 50 tickets, so purchase tickets early by calling 276-523-1322. The reservation and payment deadline is 4 p.m. on April 1.comments powered by Disqus
