Country legend Joe Diffie will headline the entertainment lineup at this year's Racks by the Tracks Festival, set for May 17 at the Farmers Market in downtown Kingsport.
Also performing will be Folk Soul Revival, Matt Stillwell, the Twang Bangers and the Catfish Frye Band.
Festival favorites returning this year — the event's seventh — include the SPF 5K Run/Walk and Kid's Mile Dash, a high gravity beer tasting and several craft beers being featured for the first time at a local festival, including gluten-free beers and ciders. The event will also feature 30 barbecue competitors, more than 10 additional food vendors and a free kid's station.
New this year is a cornhole tournament.
Before May 1, concert tickets are $10 (the first 200 tickets sold are $5 each), craft beer tasting tickets are $30 and high gravity beer tasting tickets (only 500 are available) are $40. Beer tasting tickets include admission to the entire day's entertainment lineup, from noon to 11 p.m.
