KINGSPORT — CenturyLink has opened a new store located at 2444 Memorial Blvd.

The store is staffed by four CenturyLink associates — one manager and three customer associates.

"Store staff is in almost continuous training to keep them knowledgeable of the latest technological solutions CenturyLink offers for consumers and small business," CenturyLink said in a prepared release.

"They are also highly trained in customer care, including how to tailor customer solutions to individual needs instead of a cookie cutter approach to solutions," the release states.

Residential and small business consumers can visit the store to get personalized assistance with communications needs, including Internet, voice, entertainment and wireless. They can also get a billing review. Consumers can also visit to learn about CenturyLink's discounted Internet access program for low-income consumers.

CenturyLink has a so-called "Price Lock Guarantee" offer to bundle Internet, phone and TV services with a fixed rate for three years.

A ribbon cutting and official grand opening of the store is scheduled to occur April 22 at 4 p.m.

For more information, call (423) 652-2222 or (423) 378-0050. Store hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
