Weston Keeton — the 7-year-old Blountville boy who underwent heart, heart valve, and lung transplants in the last four months — died Sunday afternoon.
The news came around 6 p.m. via Weston's Facebook support page — Weston's Warriors — which is operated by his parents, Adam and Julie Keeton.
After his birth, Weston was diagnosed with aortic and mitral stenosis and an abnormal left ventricle of the heart. He had his first surgery — a valvuloplasty, which repairs heart valves — at 9 days of age at the Duke University Medical Center.
