NASHVILLE — Forecasters say parts of Tennessee could get up to an inch of snow as the wintry weather continues to hang around.
Temperatures in the extreme northwest part of Tennessee are expected to drop into the mid to upper 20s, changing rain to snow.
In Middle Tennessee, weather officials warn freezing drizzle could cause some roadways and overpasses to be slick in spots, and are urging motorists to drive cautiously. Temperatures are expected to be around freezing.
Over in East Tennessee, forecasters predict some of the higher elevations could get a dusting of snow.
The low pressure system is expected to move out of the state by Monday, and most of Tennessee will see temperatures in the upper 40s and higher.comments powered by Disqus
