Create your own dream board during the "Dreams Come True" workshop at Unity Church.
JOHNSON CITY — Now that we're well into 2014, how are we doing the goals and dreams we envisioned at the start of the year? How would you like a way to keep your dreams and goals alive throughout the year as a visual reminder of what you want and what you deserve and do it in a fun way?
Unity Church will offer a process for creating that visual reminder during its "Dreams Come True" workshop from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday.
The workshop will be led by Natalie R. Manor, who is a 12-year veteran of creating dream boards in her life. "They work," she said. "They are wonderfully supportive and they are fun — a daily reminder of what is possible."
Using scissors, glue sticks, pictures and blank dream boards, participants will fill up their boards what they want to achieve. This a fun and proven method of attracting into your life what is most important. Cut out pictures you like and put them together. Your dream boards can be about: money, relationships, career, God, children, education, dreams — whatever it is that you want. And all the pictures you put on the dream board help you attract exactly what you want, faster than you ever thought possible.
Coffee and tea along with all the supplies will be available. Participants are asked to bring five magazines and share them with the group. A suggested $10 love donation is welcomed with the proceeds going towards the expansion of the new Sunday school program.
The workshop is open to those age 16 to 95.
