*Upcycling is the process of converting old or discarded materials into something useful and often beautiful.
It's time for a giveaway! If all goes well, I plan to do a seasonal giveaway on this blog.
For spring, I am offering this old wood storage box which I upcycled by painting it with Annie Sloan chalk paint in Old Ochre, then distressing the edges with sandpaper. I then dry brushed the inside with a blush pink acrylic paint.
The top is decoupaged with scrapbook paper and a vintage spring-like image of a little girl and a calf. A vintage button is bonded to the front.
The box can be used to store keepsakes, vintage linens, cards or stationery, etc. The photo shows the box storing vintage linens-sorry, those aren't included.
Giveaway closes on Friday, March 21st.
To enter, just leave a comment on this blog, a Facebook comment, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. The winner will be selected on March 22nd. Good Luck!
I love searching for, as well as upcycling and repurposing vintage items to decorate my home.
