No expiration date

Love Day 18: No Expiration Date

"Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away."
I Corinthians 13:8

Our home consumes about a gallon and a half of milk each week. Just enough to warrant two trips per week to the store....for if I buy two gallons for the week....that's inevitably when half the household stops eating cereal or making chocolate milk! I try to be frugal when I shop for milk...often buying the store brand. Not long ago I splurged an EXTRA $3 and bought organic milk. Other than the purity and taste ...what impressed me most was that the expiration date on it was farther out date wise than the dates on the milk WITH all kinds of preservatives.  It seems that in the case of milk...the purer the product .... the longer it remains "good"

I'm thinking about verse 8 now and how love ..... pure love has no expiration date.  Everything else fades and withers....everything else has an end, but verse 8 reminds me "love never ends".... And no that's not the latest movie title on the Hallmark channel. Love doesn't end. Not even death can put an end to love. There's simply no expiration date on love.

Dear God, You are timeless. You are our before...our now...our ever after. Thank You for ALWAYS being present and ready to love us.
