JACKIE WEXLER

JONESBOROUGH — A text message to a Fall Branch woman from a male friend enraged her husband so much that  he stuck a gun barrel into her mouth in front of their children, according to court documents.

Jackie Wexler, 27, 176 Highway 93, Fall Branch, was arrested on charges of aggravated domestic assault and two counts of reckless endangerment after the incident was reported about 9 p.m. Thursday.

In a news release, Sheriff Ed Graybeal said Wexler had been in a fight with his wife, who ran outside to escape the attack. Wexler fired a .22 caliber pistol in the air trying to get her to go back inside. He then stuck the pistol’s barrel into her mouth.
