VIDEO: Suspect sought in burglary of Kingsport business

KINGSPORT — Officers with the Kingsport Police Department are seeking a subject who rammed a garage door at a local business with a vehicle to get inside and steal cash.

The incident happened Saturday night at Kingsport Exterior Vinyl Supply, 128 Regional Park Drive. The suspect rammed his vehicle into the garage bay door and then forced open another door to gain access to the office, where he stole an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a press release.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set white male, possibly balding or with a receding hairline who wears glasses.

Officers believe the suspect was involved in a burglary at the same business in December. Photos and a video can be seen below.

Anyone who may be able to help identify this suspect or provide detectives with any additional information to help them solve this case is asked to contact the KPD Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
