Carter County woman charged with stealing antique 'pelvic massager'

ELIZABETHTON — A Carter County woman was arrested Wednesday on a charge of breaking into a residence and stealing several items, including "a plastic or latex antique pelvic massager."

Tamatha R. Blevins, 45, 156 Jackson Ave., was charged with aggravated burglary and theft over $500.

The theft was reported to Lt. Tim Horne of the Carter County Rescue Squad on Dec. 27 by James Matherly. Matherly said someone forced open his back door of his house on Jackson Avenue and took several items. In addition to the antique massager, Matherly said a U.S. Navy Seal tactical knife and a glass jar containing over $500 in loose paper and coin money were missing.
