A Mexican man was busted for drunken driving by the least likely suspect: his own parrot.
According to Gawker, Guillermo Reyes, 49, was stopped at a routine checkpoint by police in Mexico City. In talking with Reyes, officers heard someone shout, "He's drunk, he's drunk," the Spanish newspaper El Universal said.
When officers went to find the person who said it, they found the parrot.
Officers conducted a sobriety test, which Reyes failed, and was arrested on charges of drunken driving.
The parrot, which suffers from seperation anxiety, was allowed to accompany Reyes to jail.
