A Pakistan teenager is being hailed as a hero today after he reportedly threw himself on a suicide bomber who was about to blow up his school.
Aitzaz Hasan, 15, sacrificed his life to save many of his fellow students. According to Gawker, there were around 2,000 students inside a Pakistan school when the teenager spotted the bomber dressed in a school uniform.
Hasan made the decision to stop him.
Classmates pleaded with Hasan not to confront him, but he didn't listen. He went and confronted the bomber, where he lost his life.
The bombing took place in the Hangu district which is known for regular bouts of deadly sectarian violence due to its proximity to regions with heavy Taliban and al-Qaeda presence.
Social media is calling for Hasan to be honored for his bravery and sacrifice.
