HAMPTON — A robber got away with approximately 2,500 oxycodone pills during an armed robbery of the Hampton Pharmacy, 339 Highway 321 on Monday afternoon.
Sgt. Brian Durham said store employees told him a man wearing a black hoodie-type shirt, dark jeans, tan boots and a black mask entered the store around 5:45 p.m. They said he was brandishing a black pistol at employees.
The robber told employees he wanted oxycodone and ordered them to fill a white bag he had brought with him. After obtaining the pills, he told the employees if they called the police he would come back and shoot them.
