KINGSPORT — Monday was a historic night for Sullivan North senior Grayson Ball.
Ball recorded the first quadruple-double in school history by compiling 16 points, 19 rebounds, 10 blocks and 10 assists in the Golden Raiders’ 63-52 Three Rivers Conference win over Happy Valley.
“All I was trying to do was get the other guys involved in the game,” Ball said. “I just wanted to make sure I was working as hard as I could to give us the best chance to win.”
Trevor Williams added 12 points for North (3-5, 1-4).
Josh Hammonds led the Warriors (1-13, 0-5) with 17 points and Corey Matherly added 14.
In the girls’ contest, Happy Valley placed four players in double figures on the way to a 78-31 victory over the Lady Golden Raiders.
Mackenzie Blankenship led the Lady Warriors (7-6, 2-3) with 18 points. Kalee Johnson added 16, Jamie Lee Clark 13 and Jenna Eaton 11.
Freshman Shenoa Bradley led Sullivan North (3-7, 0-5) with 13 points.
