Ken Crowder honored twice by  Tri-Cities PGA Chapter at its annual banquet

BRISTOL, Tenn. —  Lonesome Pine Country Club director of golf and Tennessee PGA Section vice-president Ken Crowder was named the Golf Professional of the Year for the Tri-Cities PGA Chapter at its annual banquet on Friday.

Crowder also earned the Bill Strausbaugh Award.

Rusty Jones from Cattails at MeadowView was named the Horton Smith Award winner while Glenrochie Country Club’s Jake Spott was given the Junior Golf Leader Award.

The Richard Eller Growth of the Game Award went to Clear Creek’s Casey Barnes with Adam Dean, also from Clear Creek, named Assistant Golf Professional of the Year.

Cattails’ Pete DeBraal was named the Public and Resort Merchandiser of the Year while Blackthorn’s Graham Enloe earned Private Course Merchandiser of the Year.

Mark Houser from the Golf Trail at Warriors Path earned Player of the Year honors.

Euggie Jones of the Euggie Jones Golf Academy was named the Teacher of the Year.

FootJoy representative Katherine Berrier earned Salesperson of the Year honors.
