Video: Couple steals video game systems from Kingsport Walmart

Police are attempting to identify a pair of individuals who stole seven video game systems from a Kingsport Walmart.

The incident occurred Dec. 4 at the store on Fort Henry Drive. Kingsport Police Department Public Information Officer Tom Patton says the couple loaded three Playstation 3s and four Xbox 360s into a shopping a cart. They then pushed the $1,500 worth of merchandise out of the store without paying a cashier.

The suspects, a white male and while female estimated to be in their 30s, left the parking lot in a white minivan. The vehicle is believed to be either a Chrysler Town and Country, Dodge Caravan or Plymouth Voyager.

Authorities  have released surveillance footage and still photos of the suspects. Anyone with information on their identities is asked to contact Kingsport police at (423) 229-9429 or (423) 246-9111.
