Recycling event to benefit Journeys End No Kill Animal Society planned for Saturday

Journeys End No Kill Animal Society will hold a recycling event Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Tractor Supply in Kingsport on West Stone Drive behind Fatz restaurant.

The organization will be accepting any donations of aluminum cans, old cell phones, used ink/laser cartridges as well as dog food, cat chow, bedding, old blankets and cleaning supplies for local animal shelters.

The goal is to get the PAL (prevent a litter) mobile spay/neuter unit back in the area to help people who need to get their pets spayed/neutered by offering  low costs through the PAL unit.
