VIDEO: Cherokee High School choir performs Christmas Carols for BOE

ROGERSVILLE - The Cherokee High School Choir under the direction of Justin Nelson performed a 20 minute concert of Christmas Carols for the Hawkins County Board of Education at the beginning Thursday's meeting.

The video below features about half of that concert, but the choir can be seen in person this coming Sunday in a concert held at the First Baptist Church of Rogersville.

Sunday evening the Music Ministry of the First Baptist Church of Rogersville and the Cherokee High School Choral Department presents: "The Many Moods of Christmas" for choir and chamber orchestra by Robert Shaw and Robert Russell Bennett.

Two concerts will be held at 6 p.m and 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8 at the First Baptist Church of Rogersville's sancuary.

Tickets are required, but free tickets can be reserved by calling (423) 272-2151 or may be picked up at the FBC Office at 119 W. Washington Street in Rogersville.
