KINGSPORT — The Kingsport Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a theft suspect.

According to a press release, the incident happened in the early morning hours of November 10 when a white male suspect entered a red pickup that was in the Kroger parking lot. The suspect then stole over $1,000 worth of items, the report said.

Police estimate the subject to be in his 20s and describe him as a white male of average height, a slim build and blond hair. Officials also believe the suspect is driving a mid-1990s Ford Ranger pickup.

Photos of the suspect and vehicle can be found at the bottom of the page. Anyone with information is asked to contact the KPD Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
