KINGSPORT — Dentist Dwight DeBow has added a new orthodontic associate and opened a new office location on Meadowview Parkway.
According to a release, the Meadowview office is equipped with the latest digital dental technology, including digital X-rays, digital scanned (impression free) dental models, cloud-based electronic dental records stored offsite for privacy and electronic filing of dental insurance with almost all polices accepted including TennCare and Virginia Smiles for Children.
DeBow was recently joined by partner Jennifer Nottingham Harville.
Harville graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 2000 and attended the University of Kentucky, where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. She then moved on to New York University for a threeyear residency in orthodontics. She is married to Josh Harville.
DeBow has been in practice in a Wilcox Drive location for 40 years and has completed orthodontic treatment for approximately 15,000 people in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. His 12-member office staff has a combined experience of 181 years.
DeBow said Harville’s addition plus the new location has allowed the practice to move to the next level of orthodontic techniques and technology. Treatment could include metal braces, clear ceramic braces, gold braces, or Invisalign® clear aligners.
The office will provide emergency care for any person with braces or someone who does not have an orthodontist to care for them.
The new office is located at 2025 Meadowview Parkway Suite 200, which is directly off Interstate 26 across the street from the Heart Center. DeBow’s Wilcox Drive location will be closed temporarily with plans to reopen to offer additional services at a future date.
