Pretty Girl Station offers unique selections

Barbara Miller opened Pretty Girl Station eight years ago.

Barbara Miller was at a point in her life when she had the opportunity to
start a new career path.  She had always
thought about opening up a clothing boutique in her local community of Chilhowie and decided it was time to pursue her dream. With the assistance of her daughter, Barbara opened Pretty Girl Station eight years ago.

In March 2013, Barbara and her friend, Patty Canonico, who works in the boutique with her, found the perfect location for their store on State Street in Downtown Bristol.

“It has been a perfect fit for my store. I love the relaxed atmosphere here and the downtown area has the same feel I want in the store. The larger location is wonderful and moving to Bristol was a good move,” said Miller.

Pretty Girl Station offers one-of-a-kind boutique clothing items and generally only receives about four of each item they sell. They also carry a very unique line of jewelry, shoes, gloves, handbags and hats.

“The clothing we carry is functional and
comfortable because we know that is important to our customers,” said Miller.

Barbara and Patty both agree that the relationships with their customers is the best part of the store and they love to help their customers find the right item to fit their personalities.

“We want to provide a good shopping experience for women, where they can be comfortable trying on clothes and have fun while here.”

They participate in the downtown events and look forward to seeing new and familiar faces during the Historic Downtown Bristol Christmas Open House on Nov. 25.

Pretty Girl Station is open Monday through Saturday, and is located at 505 State Street, Downtown Bristol. Contact them at 276-644-4701 or prettygirlstation@gmail.com and “Like” Pretty Girl Station on Facebook.
