Two men on a private plane that landed at the Johnson City Municipal Airport on Monday are now facing federal charges.
A special agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration met the private plane at the municipal airport after agents in California reported that David Guy Cardwell and Justin Donald Laycock were carrying duffel bags full of marijuana on the plane.
DEA agents approached the two men while they were reportedly transferring several backpacks into a vehicle driven by Laycock's brother.
