ETSU: President has 'full range of motion' two days after Johnson City crash

Despite serious injuries in a crash earlier this week, East Tennessee State University President Brian Noland has what a university official described as a "full range of motion" and is expected to be released from a local hospital in the days ahead.

"The Nolands say they are humbled by the outpouring of support they have received from the ETSU community and from people across the region," ETSU Chief of Staff Jane Jones said in a statement released this morning.

"They expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the phone calls, messages, and prayers."
