Greeneville's Grubbs, Wilder receive top honors on All-Region 1-AA girls soccer squad

Greeneville's Grubbs, Wilder receive top honors on All-Region 1-AA girls soccer squad

GREENEVILLE — Madison Grubbs and Lynae Wilder from Greeneville earned top honors on the TSSAA All-Region 1-AA girls soccer team announced Tuesday.

Grubbs was named the most valuable player and Wilder earned offensive MVP honors.

Chuckey-Doak's Bethann Burns was named the defensive MVP.

The Lady Greene Devils, the Region 1-AA champions, placed five players on the team.

Sullivan South's Holley Kegley, Ashley Luster and Kaitlin Barrett were named to the All-Region 1-AA first team.
