BREVARD, N.C. — Bo Cordell passed for 332 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to keep Brevard from picking up a 52-33 South Atlantic Conference win over visiting Tusculum.
Cordell had an 18-yard touchdown pass to Justin Houston and a 12-yard TD toss to Deon Hicks.
Isaac Robinson rushed for 81 yards to lead the Pioneers (3-7, 1-5), including touchdown runs of 3 and 6 yards.
Ollis Jordan rushed for 131 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Tornadoes (3-7, 2-5). Jordan reached the end zone on TD runs of 1, 4, 1 and 3 yards.
Fernando Smith had 47 yards rushing for Tusculum, including a 2-yard touchdown plunge.
Brevard quarterback Kevin Herbst passed for only 78 yards, but equaled Cordell’s point production with a 15-yard TD pass to Andre Overholt and a 10-yard scoring strike to Jordan, who had five touchdowns on the day.
