ADEN CHLOE ROBINSON
CHURCH HILL — One of the four suspects who allegedly led Church Hill police on a chase in a stolen pickup early Tuesday morning has been arrested.
Shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday, CHPD Officer Brian Boggs was in McDonald’s parking lot on Silver Lake Road, when he reportedly observed a white Mazda pickup he knew to be stolen that had been lightly painted over with black primer.
When the driver noticed Boggs in his patrol car the vehicle allegedly sped away from the parking lot onto Silver Lake Road.
“I pulled out and attempted to catch the vehicle, and then it turned into The Landings apartment complex and blacked its lights out,” Boggs said. “At this point I had activated (lights) to stop the vehicle. The vehicle proceeded to go through the grass around the apartment complex.”
Boggs added, “I followed the vehicle and observed four subjects jump out and run.”
As a result of a search and investigation, police detained Aden Chloe Robinson (also known as Sarah Jackson), 19, 1068 Old Union Road, Church Hill, as a suspect.
“Ms. Robinson told officers that she was with her brother, another male juvenile, and another defendant,” Boggs added. “When I tried to stop them, they ran because the truck was stolen. I asked Ms. Robinson if she had anything illegal on her and she stated she had a small bag of marijuana. She gave officers a small baggy of green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.”
Robinson was charged with possession of stolen property over $500, simple possession of marijuana, and evading arrest.
As of Thursday the three other suspects remained at large.
