An exciting and colorful array of goods and services are on display at the 16th annual Tri-Cities Women’s Expo this weekend at MeadowView.
KINGSPORT — Thousands of women, some of whom even brought their husbands or boyfriends, descended on MeadowView Convention Center on Saturday for the 16th annual Tri-Cities Women’s Expo, sponsored by the Kingsport Times-News and the Johnson City Press.
The festivities kicked off at 10 a.m. and ran until 6 p.m. on Saturday. Events pick up again Sunday from 1 until 6 p.m.
Hundreds of booths are spread throughout the conference center. There is also a large stage right in the center ready to host everything from demonstrations to fashion shows.
“Our goal is to provide the Tri-Cities a venue that allows them to directly promote to an eager and curious audience,” said Traci Williams, event marketing director. “Exhibitors have a great platform for increasing sales, attracting new customers and sharing information.”
There is a wide range of products on display throughout the expo. One booth offers Pampered Chef items while another hands out samples of food to the people in attendance.Read more in Sunday's print edition of the Times-News or in the expanded electronic edition.
