Rebels, Cyclones stay put in 4A rankings

There wasn't much movement when The Associated Press rankings for Tennessee high school football came out Monday. From Class 6A to 2A, the top three teams held firm.

In Class 4A, Sullivan South (8-0) and Elizabethton (7-1) stayed at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, as their highly anticipated Three Rivers Conference showdown looms. But before either team can look ahead to next week's clash, the Rebels get a visit from Johnson County and the Cyclones host Unicoi County this Friday.

Sullivan North (5-4) dropped out of the 3A rankings following its 43-0 loss to South. The Golden Raiders were tied for 10th in the previous poll.
