KPD seeks public's helping in ID'ing woman on motorized scooter who stole television

This surveillance footage shows the suspect who allegedly stole a flat screen television with the help of a motorized scooter.

KINGSPORT — Kingsport police are looking for a woman who stole a flat screen television with the assistance of a motorized scooter. 

The incident happened on Oct. 8 at Walmart on Fort Henry Drive. The suspect allegedly towed the television in a shopping cart behind her motorized scooter out the front door of the store. 

The television is valued at approximately $1,000. 

According to the report, the suspect appears to be a heavy set, white female in her 50s with gray hair and wearing glasses.
