MORRISTOWN — Dobyns-Bennett posted a team total of 309 to capture the boys Region 1-AAA golf championship on Monday at Morristown Country Club.
The Indians were led by William Nottingham and Drew Doran, both of whom shot 76.
Cherokee’s Kodey Popplewell won the boys’ medalist honors after shooting a 1-over-par 73.
Science Hill, led by medalist Allison Woodward’s 75, took the girls' title with a team score of 155. Addison Baggarly added an 80 for the Lady Hilltoppers.
Dobyns-Bennett’s Haverly Harrold finished second individually among the girls with a 76. Baggarly (80) was third and Daniel Boone’s Haley Wagner (81) fourth.
