JOHNSON CITY — The 36th annual Niswonger Foundation Track & Field Invitational will be held Jan. 17-18 inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletics Center on the David E. Walker Track and Gentry Field.
The Niswonger Invitational is a two-day event featuring collegiate teams from throughout the Southeast. Last January more than 800 student-athletes from 60 teams competed in the event.
“This meet has been a staple of ETSU track and field for many years and is an opportunity to showcase our facility, the campus and Johnson City,” said ETSU director of track and field and cross country George Watts on Wednesday.
“Our athletes look forward to competing in front of the home crowd,” added Watts. “We are looking forward to another great competition in January.”
