UPDATE: Missing Piney Flats man found in Middle Tenn.

Leonard Emery.

Update - 8:40 p.m.

According to the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, Leonard Emery, 64, was found earlier Thursday evening in Maury County, Tenn.

A Sullivan County spokeswoman said Emery was unharmed. Authorities did not provide further details as to how Emery was located or who found him.

Authorities are attempting to locate a Piney Flats man who left Monday morning for work in Spring City, Tenn., but never arrived.

The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office says it's unusual that Leonard Emery, 64, has not contacted anyone, while his cell phone has apparently been turned off. He's described as approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 230 pounds, completely bald with a red mustache.

Emery drives a 2005 Ford Ranger pickup with a white camper top. A sticker on the tailgate reads N1PG.

Emery's wife reportedly told police that he left their residence on Nelson Avenue at 9:30 Monday morning. He was supposed to be at his place of employment in Spring City at 6 p.m., but never showed up.

Police say a coworker was sent to the Emery's second home in Spring City, but he was not located.

Anyone with information on Emery's whereabouts is asked to contact the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office at (423) 279-7500, extension 222.
