Johnson City police release name of toddler who died; investigation continues

The Johnson City Police Department released a full incident report Wednesday with the name of a toddler who died Monday after being found unresponsive, although there were few details in the document.

Police and medical personnel responded to the child’s residence, Knob Creek Arms Apartments, 1901 Knob Creek Road, No. 20, around 12:45 p.m. Monday. They found 16-month-old Alexander Kian Paul unresponsive. The baby was transported to the Johnson City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

According to the police report, Jonathan Lee Cravens, 27, of the same residence, was listed as the complainant. His relationship to the child was not documented. The child’s mother, Dusti M. Paul, also lives in the apartment.
