A Little Taste of Harmony opens

July 31st, 2013 8:08 am by Scott Compton, community contributor

That's right. The folks from Harmony Grocery have opened a new cajun cafe in the midway area located in The Royal Pines Plaza beside Ink-a-zoid Tattoos.

Enjoy crawfish etouffee, jambalaya, gumbo, red beans and rice in a friendly, laid back atmosphere that is reminiscent of the good times had in New Orleans.

If that's too daring, have a shrimp platter with fries and a side of any cajun dish to try. Everything is served in a timely manner which makes it the perfect lunch destination. Seating is limited inside, but all menu items are served as "to go" items, neatly packaged in biodegradable Styrofoam for easy transport.

No alcohol is served, feel free to bring your own, but again there is no glassware.

The menu is growing. Soon there will be fried alligator, blackened oysters, and some famous desserts.

See the full menu on Facebook or stop by and check it out. A Little Taste of Harmony is located at 5400 Fort Henry Drive, Kingsport. 423-245-NOLA (6652)
